NEW ORLEANS_COMMUNITY CENTER

Located in New Orleans, this artist residency and community center aims at engaging the public along a seldom-used park which crosses under a highway. The form of this building is created by the axis of the park and the highway, and acts as a visual extension of the road. The tooth-like housing units are influenced by a historically significant cemetary which borders the park. Screens are located along the building which each cater to different audiences: traffic on the highway, the public in the park, and users of the space.
